Heart Machine’s Hyper Light Breaker was released last month in early access, and the developers have revealed what’s coming this month until April as part of the game’s early access roadmap.
The first content drop is scheduled for February 18, where a new character and more are planned.

Hyper Light Breaker First Content Update Set for February 18
The update will bring:
- New playable Breaker in Ravona
- New SyComs for the new Breaker
- New enemies including a new Elite enemy
- New Holobytes like the “Hunter’s Mark” and more
- New Affixes
- Performance updates
- Combat and gear rebalance (includes increasing the rate of rare gear drops in the Overgrowth)
- Quality-of-life improvements like slowing the pacing of the Danger Meter
- Bug fixes
April will bring a major content update titled “Buried Below,” though details on that are still under wraps for now.
Aside from this roadmap, another one is in the works, the “Summer Edition” roadmap, which will be revealed in May.

There is no word yet on whether we’ll be getting a console version of the game, though I suspect once Heart Machine settles on version 1.0 of Hyper Light Drifter, we’ll hear more about those plans.
