    Notice: This tutorial has been created with Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander). Older versions may distinguish from the tutorial.
    Open the network menu, go to “VPN Connections” and click on “Configure VPN…”.

    Click on “Add”.

    Choose “Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP)” and click on “Create”.

    Take over the settings from the screenshot and Select a server in the members area and put the server address as “Gateway”. Enter your hide.me login credentials at “Account” and “Password” and click on “Advanced…”.

    Take over the settings from the screenshot, click on “OK” and then on “Save…”.

    Open the network menu to establish a VPN connection.

    If connection has been successfully established, the status is shown in the menu bar. You can manage your VPN connection in the network settings.

    Go to hide.me/check to see if your connection is now using our VPN server.
