Search engine optimization (SEO):
Search engine optimization, or SEO for short, is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or web page in search engine results pages (or SERPs).
SEO affects text-based online traffic to both commercial websites and noncommercial entities such as blogs.
Many people who don’t know any better think that all you have to do is create really long keywords with no relevance to your product/service/blog/website just so that it will pop up higher than other unrelated sites when someone searches for those words so they’ll click on it first.
But Google has caught on big time and penalizes spammy BS like that these days by lowering rankings or even scrubbing them completely from their database altogether.
There are a number of different techniques you can use to get on the first page on Google. As frustrating as it may be, SEO is just one more skill you have to learn on your journey through life.
Google technically never releases its algorithm or image image algorithm, but many of its top engineers have huge blogs and they offer takes on what Google may be looking for when indexing content.
